Keith L. Moore
Keith L. Moore is counsel to our firm. Mr. Moore is a 1977 graduate of
the Georgetown University Law Center where he was a member of the Georgetown
Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University.
After graduating from Georgetown, he practiced as an associate in the
Chicago office of Sonnenschein, Stet & Rosenthal. He became an associate
with Coffield Ungaretti Harris & Slavin (now Ungaretti & Harris)
in 1979 where he practiced real estate law. He became an equity partner
with the firm in 1983. He relocated to Los Angeles in 1988, and from 1994
until 1997, served as corporate counsel with Big 5 Sporting Goods, a west
coast retail sporting goods chain. While at Big 5 he was responsible for
new store development and leasing.
Mr. Moore has extensive experience in the field of commercial real estate,
representing lenders, owners and developers. He has closed a wide range
of transactions involving the purchase and sale, financing, development
and leasing of retail, office, industrial, hotel and multi-family properties.
In his financing work, Mr. Moore has represented banks, saving and loans,
and insurance companies in both construction and permanent loan transactions
in numerous states, involving large and small loan amounts for a wide
variety of development categories. He has experience in loan work-outs
and restructuring, credit-enhanced financings and letter-of-credit transactions.
Mr. Moore is admitted to practice in the states of California and Illinois.
